Royal Visit
4th April 2012 – HRH The Duchess of Cornwall visits Wirral Credit Unions’ New Ferry Branch
As part of the Queens Jubilee celebrations and to help celebrate Wirral Credit Unions 20th anniversary, we were honoured with a royal visit from HRH The Duchess of Cornwall to our New Ferry Branch. The Duchess is a big supporter of Credit Unions and understands the important work that is carried out for the community. During her visit, the duchess met staff, volunteer directors and members of Wirral Credit Union to hear about how they had been helped over the last 20 years.
All involved had a wonderful day and were impressed by HRH knowledge of Credit Unions. This was a royal seal of approval for the work we at Wirral Credit Union do and will continue to do in the future.
