As a member-owned credit union, every decision we make is for the benefit of our members and the communities we serve.

Our Board of Directors helps guide the future of the credit union, making sure we’re financially responsible and always acting in our members’ best interests. While the Board sets the overall direction, our senior management team looks after the day-to-day running of the organisation.

Good governance allows us to remain a trusted place for people to save, borrow and build financial confidence.

How we’re regulated

Like all UK credit unions, we’re regulated by both the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA).

The FCA oversees how we deliver financial services to our members, helping to ensure members are treated fairly. The PRA, part of the Bank of England, focuses on the financial strength and stability of credit unions, ensuring they remain safe and resilient.

Together, these regulators expect credit unions to be well governed, financially sound and managed by individuals who understand their responsibilities.

Meeting these standards helps us continue providing member-focused financial services while staying true to our values.
